If you have purchase a piece of our furniture with our our standard finish, it is easy to repair small scratches and nicks that occur over time. Lightly hand sand the area with 100 grit and then 220 grit sandpaper. Apply two coats of Watco Natural Finish Danish Oil as directed on the container. After 24 hours lightly hand sand with very fine steal wool and apply two coats of paste wax. Watco Danish Oil is availabel in Lowes', Home Depot or through the Rockler catalog. Be sure the area is well ventilated. Let the cloths or papertowel air dry in the open before disposing of them. Do not cover them while they are drying - spontaneous combustion may result. |
