Flat - Our standard finish features two coats of hand rubbed danish oil and hand rubbed paste wax in a six step process for long lasting beauty. We recommend this finish for fine furniture - the Danish Oil penetrates into the wood - it doesn't sit on top of it - and brings out the grain and helps protect the wood. Satin or Gloss - If either of these finishes are selected a natural clear stain is applied to the wood to bring out the grain and two coats of polyurathane are applied and then hand rubbed paste wax. This is an option for those who wish to have a glossier finish than the "flat" finish gives. |
