This 5 drawer dresser, shown here in Mahogany with a red mahogany stain and satin polyurethane finish, is designed for a child's room. It can also do double duty as a changing table for an infant. It features five drawers and a cabinet with one adjustable shelf. This shorter height, 35 inches, is practical for a child's bed room while satisfying the storage needs for a youngster. Drawers are individually made to fit their openings and are dovetailed for beauty and strenght. Drawer interiors (sides, back and bottom) are made of clear pine. You may also select a cedar bottom drawer, in which case all of the interior pieces are made of solid cedar. The back is solid mahogany frame and panel construction to give a finished look to all sides of the dresser. FINISH Our Danish Oil/Spar Varnish finish is recommended if the dresser is for a child's room. If the dresser is going to used as a changing table, then we recommend the satin polyurathane finish for extra protection for thos unexpected "accidents".
