The Square and Round Lattice Trivets are made from hardwoods and are imported. FINISH - The boards are sanded to 400 and hand rubbed with Mineral Oil for a beautiful smooth finish and long lasting beauty. The edges and the center hole are all rounded for a smooth look and ease of handling. CARE - To clean do not put them in the dish washer or emerse in water, just wash them off with a damp soapy cloth, rinse and let dry. Apply a coat of Mineral Oil every six months. If they need to be refinished rub with 0000 steal wool and then coat with mineral oil, let stand for 20 minutes and wipe dry. The mineral oil may seep out for a couple of days, if so just towel dry.
